Driven by high performance 4.0-liter turbocharged DOHC 24-valve inline six-cylinder engine produces a maximum power of the F6 310 kW at 5500 rpm and maximum torque of 565nm per over the range 1950-5200 rpm.
To achieve the significant 40kW increase, FPV engineers strengthened the piston design and started to push. A new intake system has airflow from the air inlet of the cylinder head inlet, which substantially reduces pressure drop without loss improves the boost ability.
